Because of the heavy rain forecast for this weekend, the Center and Dewing schools have postponed their scheduled Trunk or Treat events. They will now host a combined Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Center Elementary School.
The schedule for the new event is as follows:
4 to 4:30 p.m.: Sensory-friendly
4:30 to 6 p.m.: Dewing families
6 to 8 p.m.: Center families
Families with children at both schools are encouraged to attend during the Dewing hours.
Many volunteers for the original dates will not be able to attend on this new date, so please considering helping out. You can sign up here.
Here are some additional details about the event:
Safety is our top priority. It will be dark, so be sure to keep your children with you at all times.
This is not a drop-off event.
Park in the designated lots only.
No restrooms will be available.
When you arrive, enter the line starting at the Ryan Elementary School front doors and going along the sidewalk next to the Ryan parking lot.
Follow the arrows on the trunk path and visit the trunks only once.
